Ann Marie Calhoun The lovely and talented bluegrass violinist who was a featured artist on the Fall 2006 Jethro Tull tour.
Jerry Bergonzi One of the major reasons I moved to Boston was to study with this man. Hearing him play in a relaxed atmosphere at the Acton Jazz Cafe on very many Wednesday nights have been some of the most inspring musical moments I can remember.
George Garzone One of the heaviest saxophonists around. This man is a big reason why I'm playing on that beautiful silver plated Mark VI I am today!
Danilo Perez Brilliant and innovative bandleader and one of the most charasmatic and insightful educators around. What a privledge it is to be surrounded by his spirit at NEC.
Lake Street Dive Another one of Boston's greatest new music projects, and already receiving national recognition as many of them have just graduated this past May. Fantastic group of musicians.
School of Groove I teach lessons and occasional classes at this new school for students of all ages and ability levels in Inman Square, Cambridge.
Boston Afrobeat Society A group of NEC musicians who have put an amazing band together. They definately put on one of my favorite live shows in Boston.
Omer Klein Omer played on the first "Mark Zaleski Quartet" gig that I booked in Boston when we both first started at New England Conservatory for very few people at the Wonder Bar in Allston, but what a fun experience it was to work with him. Now he is living in New York and touring the world with many of the finest musicians in jazz. You have to check him out.
Jason Yeager Jason and I play together in his band called Project Q. He occasionally will step in with the Mark Zaleski Band and play beautifully. One of my favorite people to work for.
Tyson Stubelek The dynamic drummer of the Mark Zaleski Band. Check out his sexy, yet mysterious headshots.
Alex Brown Frequent player with the Mark Zaleski band and virtuosic young composer and pianist. Check out all of his many side projects!
